To manage the personnel and all processes related to onsite warehousing to provide a high level of customer service to internal departments and provide outbound freight to internal and external customers. Manage warehouse utilisation and capacity to ensure safe, efficient and GxP compliant warehouse operations.

Main Duties

  • Manage consumable inventory for Operations
  • Monitor and manage CHEP account for Operations Warehouse including routine inventory checks and reconciliations
  • Support Customer Service levels for internal customers
  • To provide regular stock counts and checks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee and assure the timely maintenance of SKU-level MRP data in SAP to assure resource availability and planning to support commercial requirements to include capacity analysis
  • Manage inventory to identify over-stock and short dated products
  • Develop and maintain a competent, motivated, and engaged team through effective communications, management, recruitment, training and development
  • Build and maintain positive cross functional relationships through collaboration and communication
  • Maintain the required level of skill and competencies relevant for your job role and development
  • Monitor key performance indicators and key behavioural indicators to understand and develop strategies and improvement initiatives
  • All compliance records (incidents, investigations, CAPAs, change controls etc.) under your responsibility to be completed on time and in an effective manner
  • Ensure cGMP compliance by following company policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain positive cross functional relationships through collaboration and communication
  • Ensure yourself and your team meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance standards by following company policies and procedures
  • Complete GMP documentation to cGMP standards
  • Report any deviations in processing or procedures
  • Proactively drive Operational Excellence through the area of responsibility by supporting OE processes and team involvement
  • Identify and participate in the implementation of Cl opportunities
  • Participate in OE workshops and training
  • Manage area team resources efficiently and cost effectively to meet Operations plans and targets
  • Promote a safe and healthy workplace by complying with company instructions and processes, taking reasonable care to ensure your own safety and health and that of others, and to report any injury, hazard or illness
  • Ensure direct reports are equipped with the information, instruction, training, supervision, and equipment that they need to work safely and that they abide by all relevant health and safety procedures
  • Act as a role model by promoting safe work behaviours

About you

  • Prior Experience in Warehouse Management
  • Education: A bachelors degree
  • QLD Health Controlled Drug Licence,
  • Forklift Licence
  • APICS CPIM certification
  • Skills: Proficiency in Lean Management and Six Sigma methodologies.
