Sunrun is seeking an experienced and dynamic Staff Program Manager to join our Affiliate Partner organization. In this pivotal role, the Staff Program Manager will lead the development and execution of key projects, programs, and initiatives aimed at enhancing partner engagement and driving the success of the Affiliate Partner business.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program or project management, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional outcomes for the Affiliate organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage the PMO framework within the Affiliate Partner organization, ensuring alignment with Sunrun’s strategic goals, evolving market dynamics, and partner needs.
Implement standardized project management methodologies, tools, and processes across the Affiliate Partner organization to enhance efficiency and ensure visibility for leadership.
Maintain the Affiliate Program Technology Roadmap, ensuring technology initiatives align with business objectives and meet partner needs in a competitive environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders—including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technology—to gather and document comprehensive project requirements.
Translate business needs into actionable project briefs and requirements that guide execution and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Work with Business Leaders, Product Managers, and Engineering Managers to secure prioritization for Affiliate initiatives on the company roadmap.
Continuously refine project briefs, requirements, and business cases based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business priorities.
Establish clear objectives, strategies, and success metrics for each program, providing regular status updates to Affiliate leadership and stakeholders.
Manage timelines, resources, and activities efficiently to ensure successful program execution.
Develop frameworks to minimize commercial risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies for program stability.
Collaborate with IT Ops to develop, implement, and refine data security protocols, ensuring compliance and safeguarding customer and partner information.
Regularly assess program performance and market competitiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance outcomes and partner satisfaction.
Act as the primary point of contact for program-related inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback and promoting collaboration and innovation across the business.
REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND OTHER SKILLS)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a PMO or program management role, with a focus on affiliate or partner programs.
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Asana, Jira, Salesforce, and G Suite.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess program performance and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to travel as necessary for program development and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Be able to remain in a seated position for more than 50 percent of the workday
Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment
Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and occasionally lift and or move up to 15 pounds
Have adequate visual and hearing acuity to follow instructions, operate office equipment and determine the accuracy of the work assigned
Ability to perform normal office duties

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$115,229.36 to $153,639.15Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards. Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
