Midtown is looking for a KidTown Supervisor to join our world-class childcare team. 

Pay: $22.50 - $26.00 an hour

The Position
As an integral part of the management team, our KidTown Supervisors inspire members through movement, community, and personal attention. They encourage active, social, and healthier lives by:

• Supervise and mentor childcare staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure quality care and effective teamwork
• Ensure appropriate staffing, monitoring and managing open shifts
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for children and associates
• Monitor and evaluate associates performance
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities
• Ensure all safety standards are being followed
• Collaborate with Leads and Manager to implement policies, solve issues, and improve service
• Handle parent communications and concerns, maintaining a positive relationship with families and providing feedback and updates
• Partner with manager to plan, promote, and implement all kids programs
• Assist in registration for all registered kids programming
• Maintain confidentiality among co-workers

Our KidTown Supervisors:

• Possess at least two years of supervisory experience in a child care environment with relevant youth programming experience
• Genuinely care about providing quality and safe youth experiences
• Demonstrate the ability to motivate others to work independently and as a team
• Communicate effectively with both children and adults
• Exhibit strong customer service skills through a genuine desire to serve others
• Possess outstanding communication skills and solid organizational abilities
• Demonstrate a positive attitude that inspires children

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Ability to work in a highly demanding, stressful environment
• Ability to tolerate a moderate to high noise level at times

Required Certificates:

• CPR/AED Certification or obtain upon hire
