Senior Software Engineer F/T

Overview
Responsible for requirements gathering, capacity planning, testing and analysis of Mastercard Checkout Solution Services.
Role
• Work closely with application teams to go onboard to Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic and help to uplift their monitoring configuration.
• Debug and triage various challenges incurred by application teams integrating with Dynatrace.
• Work with various teams on learning how to best utilize application performance monitoring to uplift both their development and production operations.
• Assist and provide expert best practices in adoption, expansion, additional use cases and in setting up Splunk.
• Engage application and infrastructure teams to establish best practices for utilizing Splunk data and visualizations.
• Work with database engineering team to migrate databases from bare metal server to Exadata.
• Monitor database server-side metrics, optimize sql performance and redis memory optimizations.

About You
• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or related and eight (8) years of experience in job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, Systems Engineer, Performance Analyst, Database analyst or related.
• Qualifying experience must include two (2) years of experience with each of the following: PCF/AWS/Azure cloud, UNIX, Oracle, PL/SQL, DynaTrace, AppDynamics, NewRelic, Automation, Cloud.
• Rate of pay: $ 189,592.00 – $ 190,000.00 / year.
• Option to work from home-based office exists. May reside anywhere within the United States.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
