Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve working on Industry X Security and performing maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work using your expertise in software development. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Industry X Security. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement software solutions. - Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software development. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in software development and Industry X Security, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in Industry X Security. - Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools. - At least 6 years of experience in Security Research, Consulting, Performing Security Assessments and Penetration (VAPT) Testing having deep knowledge in Web/Mobile Application (Android and iOS) Security, API Security, Cloud Security, Network Security. Preferred understanding in Container Security, Embedded Security and IOT/IIOT Security. - Expertise in architecting, strategizing, recommending and implementing security solutions. - In-depth experience with security threats and vulnerability research along with practicing security development lifecycle best practices including threat modeling; security code review, analysis and vulnerability assessment; reverse engineering skills; exploitation and mitigation technique development; Security testing techniques such as fuzzing and pen-testing. - Must have experience in SAST, DAST, SCA and Threat modeling along with the various industry standard tool. - Hands on work experience using various security and penetration testing tools such as BurpSuite, Metasploit, Nessus, Microfocus Fortify SCA, Microsofocus Web Inspect, BlackDuck, IBM Appscan, Acunetix, Netsparker, Wireshark, NMAP, DROZER, Kali Linux, Burp Suite etc. on Windows and Linux. - Mandatory to have any one or more security certification like CEH, CHFI, ECSA, OSCP, CISSP, CISO, CISM, CISSP, CompTIA Security + and GSEC. - Strong understanding of software development principles and practices. - Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. - Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jenkins, or JIRA. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Industry X Security. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful software solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
