What you will do:

The Medical Staff Services Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of Medical Staff Services Department regarding coordination of the processing of initial appointment and reappointment applications of 1000+ providers including physicians, advanced dependent practitioners and dependent practitioners. Coordinates all of the credentialing functions such as application processing and primary source verification. Ensures compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies in regards to credentialing applicants while utilizing a working knowledge of the statutes and laws.Maintains a working knowledge of the medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures as related to the medical staff to ensure applications are processed according to Medical Staff policy and regulatory compliance. Performs verification of reappointment applications by preparing requests for information, letters, tracks responses and follows up on needed information. Obtains updated licensure, certification and insurance certificates as needed and maintains in database. Enters accurate and up-to-date data for each applicant into the database and responds to verification requests.The Medical Staff Services Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with preparation of Medical Staff Committee Agendas for the Allied Health Professional Committee, the Credentials Committee, and the Medical Executive Committee as well as preparation of Committee minutes and reports.

What you will need:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Three years experience in Medical Staff Services and credentialing; proficiency in credentialing software systems.
