Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Department for Digital Appliances, incumbent will be required to build and lead a team with the focus of successfully developing and growing the Air-conditioning business in Singapore.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Development of vision and strategies towards the achievement of the department’s sales & profit target
  • Developing a sustainable business model with innovative ideas and solutions
  • Working closely with cross function teams and departments to develop and execute best-in-class product, marketing and retail strategies with the objective of building and strengthening the company’s brand positioning in the Air-conditioning market
  • Together with the product marketing manager, manage the product portfolio’s roadmap and lifecycle
  • Leading a team of key account managers in developing and growing distribution channels (B2C / B2B) and establishing a strong long-term relationship with our business partners and key decision makers
  • Supported by Pre-sales Engineer, provide technical designs and consultations to meet project requirements 
  • Working closely with service team to create a top-notch after sales service
  • Leading, coaching and mentoring to ensure team members’ personal growth and job satisfaction. Managing team’s day to day operations which includes but not limited to:
  • Product Management
  • Market Analysis
  • Key Account Management
  • P&L Management
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Pre-sales / After sales
  • Management reporting

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma but ideally a Degree (in Business or Engineering), with at least 10 years of experience in Air-conditioning business, with strong connections within the industry and understanding of the market preferred
  • Skilled in P&L and people management
  • Experience in both Sales and Marketing
  • Successful sales track record in both B2B and B2C
  • Excellent in cognitive thought and problem solving
  • Creative and innovative
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and possess good project management and presentation skills
