Job Description

As a strategic Change Enablement Leader, the role is centered around enabling and driving transformation at a higher level within the organization, including: 

  • Influence and lead change management for product developments, services, release management planning and deployments  

  • Operate as an internal service provider for the realization of the product roadmaps. 

  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for change enablement and act as the executive relationship manager for key strategic partners. 

  • Provide strategic partnership and executive leadership support on change enablement for the function and programs led by the function  

  • Drive and support engagement to align different stakeholders with the organization’s vision and goals during change, ensuring everyone is on the same page 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Create and implement tailored change strategies for all activities and assigned projects to the highest standard, leveraging dynamic assets, media and AI supported deliverables.  

  • Provide guidance on best practice as required to junior team members and members assigned to programs in the function 

  • Maintain and deliver against our best-in-class change strategy 

  • Identify and implement improvements to change process, practices and tools 

  • Seek and maintain productive business relationships across DD&T and Takeda and with outside partners to create an ongoing flow of relevant, interesting, and timely communication on digital topics 

  • Maintain existing and activate new communications channels that highlight Takeda digital opportunities, accomplishments, and strategy 

  • Remain current on digital and emerging technologies and trends 

  • Conduct stakeholder impact analysis, assess change readiness, and develop change plans that drive successful adoption 

  • Identify and manage change champions to drive adoption 

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring their support and addressing their concerns throughout the transformation process. 

  • Leadership Alignment: Ensure that the leadership team is aligned and committed to the change goals and supports the change initiatives. 

  • Feedback Management: Establish mechanisms to collect feedback from stakeholders and adjust strategies based on this feedback. 

  • Develop change management processes and tools to support the adoption of the changes required by DD&T projects or initiatives 

  • Oversee delivery of best-in-class change management & communication strategies  

  • Champion and drive change management within the organization and related projects 

  • Create and implement tailored change management strategies and plans that maximize buy in,  adoption, trust and minimize resistance. 

  • Manage communications and training analysts to deliver on change management plans 

  • Employee/User Enablement - Ensure both in communication and training the use of emerging and innovative technologies and methodologies  

  • Monitor and Measure Progress: Track the progress of change enablement initiatives, using metrics and feedback to measure success and make necessary adjustments. 

  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for change management. 

  • As a member of the Change & Culture team support other team activities as needed 

 

 

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: 

  • Appropriate Bachelor’s in related specialization area (e.g. Change Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Training, IS) is essential. 

  • 10+ years of experience in an area of Communications or Organizational Change Management  

  • Communication – ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner. 

  • Analytical Skills – ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions. 

  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders, change networks 

  • Experience in change management for Digital/Technology products. 

  • Experience in business partnering providing a support service internally to business stakeholders 

  • Ability to lead change in a cross-functional organization  

  • Ability to work successfully in multi-cultural teams and to build strong relationships with key local and global stakeholders 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills 

  • Excellent English language skills 

  • Solid IT skills and a quick learner 

  • Open to new ways of working and applying new methodologies 

  • Flexibility to travel to countries/regions where necessary

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$137,000.00 - $215,270.00


The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
