We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic who is energetic, highly motivated, well organized, and a self-starter with strong commitment to safety for our Santa Fe Springs, CA location. This diesel mechanic should be a strong teammate with ability to work well with fellow mechanics, drivers, and operations personnel.

The primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary on trailers and tractors

  • Document/record work performed electronically on the computer

  • Perform road repairs when necessary

  • Perform cryogenic pump maintenance

  • Perform electrical/electronic repairs and installs on tractors and trailers

  • Calibrate pump discharge meters

  • Minor welding and fabricating as required

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Class A CDL preferred

  • Strong mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills

  • Energetic, highly motivated and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety

  • Strong team player with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel

  • Solid work history

  • Ability to drive a tractor

  • Welding knowledge and experience

  • Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits

  • Diesel engine troubleshooting and minor repair experience

  • This is a safety sensitive position

Starting rate is $38.92/hour, PLUS potential overtime. (This role is a ladder position, and advancement is possible based on experience and demonstrated competency).
