Help us get ahead of disease together with our Internship Programme

Education required: You are regularly enrolled in a Bachelor/Master in a scientific field (Chemist, pharmacist, Bio engineer, chemical engineer ..) in an Educational Establishment located in Europe.

Language requirement: You speak English (minimum professional level). French, Italian or German are a plus.

Other requirements: You understand the manufacturing processes required to produce biologics. You possess organizational skills and can handle long-term planning.

Expected start date: January/February 2025 (flexible)

Duration: 3 to 12 months

Work arrangements: Hybrid

Requisite: The internship must be mandatory & done in the framework of the curriculum, for which an agreement must be signed between GSK, the student and the Educational Establishment.

Remuneration: according to Belgian legal requirements, the internship will not be paid. However, some expenses will be reimbursed.

What will you do?

  • Understand secondary filling processes at GSK

  • Support the filling team to design, prepare and deploy filling technologies throughout the manufacturing network

  • To write process evaluation protocols and reports in collaboration with other global teams and local teams (R&D, GSK experts, manufacturing),

  • Understand and deploy, according to a project management methodology, an improvement or innovation project impacting the entire GSK secondary network.

  • Ensure the follow-up and reporting of tasks to the leadership team or other global governance.

  • Participate actively and share the project evolution during the filling community of practice.

  • Liaise with the different sites to share and gather information

This internship will allow you to:

  • Develop your technical skills in secondary processes

  • Engage with many different functional groups throughout GSK (MSAT, Quality, R&D, …)

  • Develop your knowledge of project management (budget, resources, planning) on a multi-site, multi-product project.

  • Develop your autonomy and leadership skills through cross-functional tasks

  • Expand your global network.

  • Improve your technical language skills

  • Participate in the implementation of large-scale projects.

  • Develop your skills in communication and persuasion within a global setting.

  • Deepen your scientific knowledge of biologics.
