Build next generation user experience for consumer applications. Work as a part of the cross-functional team of developers for Digital Banking applications on customers’ ability to move between FIAT and crypto currencies. Lead forward development on the out systems-based front end for crypto features of digital experience globally. Collaborate with product management, design team, and other stakeholders on international release roadmap of a wide variety of user experiences. Develop features and improvements to the Loyalty Platform and program offering in a secure, well-tested and performant way. Design code that meets our internal standard for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity as well as fix prioritized issue from the issue tracker. Work with product management and other stakeholders (Backend and UX) on new features within the Loyalty Platform. Maintain and advocate for high internal standards through code review. Provide mentorship for Junior and Intermediate Engineers. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC at 11902 Burnet Road, Suite 350, Austin, TX 78758. Salary Range: $108,826 to $150,250 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or other occupation/position/job title involving coding, testing, and analyzing application software.
Must also have the following special skills:
3 years of professional experience building software and managing processes utilizing Jira; 3 years of professional experience building web applications using Angular and .NET; 3 years of professional experience utilizing design thinking concepts, architecture designs, and agile best practices techniques; 3 years of professional experience coding, testing, and analyzing application software and supporting existing business systems applications; 3 years of professional experience consulting with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions; 3 years of professional experience designing and documenting technical requirements for business applications; and 1 year of professional experience extending out systems with custom coded componentry.

Annual base salary gross: $108,826 to $150,250 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
