What You Will Do:
Our team helps Federal Government clients design, build and operate owned and leased facilities on Redstone Arsenal. Throughout the lifecycle of these facilities cost estimation is needed at the parametric and detailed levels. Cost estimators on our team provide estimates before design, throughout design and during construction on parts and whole projects.

During Construction, cost estimators will estimate changes generated by the client, field conditions and from the General Contractors. They will then compare those estimates with the proposals from the General Contractors.

After occupancy of the facilities cost estimators will assist in O&M lifecycle cost estimates, utilities and energy estimates as well as renovation and mission change estimates.


Throughout the lifecycle of the Contract, cost estimators will maintain historical records to inform them and the client of market and economic trends in all aspects of facilities.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET federal security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an area such as economics, mathematics, building science, statistics, construction management, production management, accounting, finance, or engineering.

  • TEN (10) or more years of experience as a cost estimator.

  • Must have an industry recognized certification such as a Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Earned Value Professional (EVP), Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), Project Management Institute-Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), etc.

  • Knowledge of regulations, price trends and exchange rates in building construction and associated trades

  • Experience using industry software products used for cost estimating activities to include RS Means and CTC.
