The opportunity

We are looking for a Devops Engineer to drive innovation and solution development in Grid Automation. In this role you will collaborate with dynamic global technology teams with niche competences and cutting-edge technology. You will be developing the power grids of the future, creating software that is used in crucial infrastructure and real time. The product is designed to have a long life while also being very efficient and secure.

Our tech stack and tools include: .NET Core, C++,  REST API,  PostgreSQL, Git, Azure AD, Azure DevOps, Powershell, Linux, Bash, Python, Kafka, RabbitMQ Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, and Prometheus, Ansible

How you’ll make an impact   
 

• Be part of real DevOps cross functional team focused on delivery efficiency

• Maintain and develop continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for containerized (micro-services) solutions

• Use Helm, Terraform and Ansible for automation

• Work with the team to design architecture, choose the best available technologies and test final solution.

• Create and maintain deployment automation to multiple environments: cloud, local lab, development.

• Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology

• Sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members

 
 

Your Background 

• You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or an equivalent field of study

• 3+ year of experience with the following tech stack: Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Prometheus, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, AD, AAD, OAuth – both cloud and on-prem

• You have practical knowledge of software configuration management (Azure DevOps/TFS, GIT, Powershell, NuGet, code review tools, static analysis tools, installer/packagers, provisioning tools, virtualization/cloud-based build and testing systems)

• You have a very good knowledge of Windows and Linux-based systems and technologies, as well as system administration

• Scripting/programming skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) will be a plus

• Proficient written and spoken communication in English
