About the Role:
Detects, highlights and tracks bugs & performs activities according to quality criteria.
Delivers testing solutions for a single product and/or participates in complex projects.
Proven ability to work within an agile environment & actively and collaboratively contributes to meetings, processes, and agile ceremonies with cross functional teams.
Test automation engineering experience with Selenium, Postman, Protractor and JMeter testing tools.
Experience with the software tools and techniques used in automated testing. (Java, Selenium, Web driver, Test NG)
Experience testing Web Applications in cross-browser and cross-device using automated test tools.
Experience in testing data persistence systems using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS. [MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Dynamo]
Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Experience leveraging the following technologies or competitive technologies: Angular, Application Performance Management, Kibana, PowerBI, Tableau or Quicksight, AWS Cloud development experience a plus, data Science: Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence.
Experience with developing both front-end and back-end automation tests.
Understanding of security best practices for web development knowledge in agile methodologies.
Business Acumen:
Establishes and maintains ongoing relationships with key customers.
Understands the markets we serve, our products and customers.
Knowledge of business rules related to the company's products.
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into test cases.
Able to interpret customer scenarios and convert them into manual and/or automated test scripts.
Leadership:
Understands product strategy & objectives. Aligns QA Engineering work accordingly.
Addresses routine objections and concerns with limited support; knows when escalation is needed.
Creates operating mechanisms to ensure all voices are heard within the project team; commits to team decisions once made.
Identifies opportunities to improve business and processes
Shares information clearly and articulately via all mediums to all audiences.
Learns and adapts; bounces back from setbacks.
About You:
A 4-year degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related field.
At least 3-5 years of software testing and/or software development.
Experience in writing SQL Queries.
Experience in Web services 7 API testing using SOAP UI.
Strong technical aptitude, organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple priorities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, global, and dynamic environment.
Ability to work proactively and collaboratively as part of a team on a large project.
Ability to pay attention to details and to follow through on commitments.
Interest in keeping abreast of current trends in software development and testing, especially as they relate to the technologies being used.
Working knowledge of the software development life-cycle.
Effective written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
