Job Summary :

The Enterprise Warranty Excellence:  Data Analyst key member of the warranty enterprise Center Of Excellence (COE).  The warranty data analyst will be responsible for executing the full data science cycle:  data acquisition through insight communication, effectively and efficiently.    Additionally, the warranty data analyst will be responsible for ensuring the early detection of significant warranty issues, validation of corrective actions, metrics and scorecard development and maintenance and cost, scenario and predictive modeling.  The analyst will also maintain an active involvement with their assigned PBU(s) and ensure data analysis requests are completed in an effective and timely manner.  Finally, the analyst will work with their peers within the department to share knowledge, lessons learned and best practices to continually improve their outputs as well as the departments business processes.  To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess strong communication skills, a passion for continual improvement, and the ability to develop strong relationships.  The role will report to the Enterprise Warranty Excellence:  Supplier Data Analyst Supervisor and operate across multiple business units.

What will you do?

  • Collect and coordinate business requirements for analytical reporting.
  • Develop regular warranty data analysis reports for the business.
  • Monitor the performance of reports and dashboards, complete data validation, and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Provide BI system user support through training and query resolution to ensure the most effective usage of BI data.
  • Key focus on eliminating manual reporting activities within the Product Management teams through system automation.
  • Assess current state reporting activities and develop robust solutions to automate and optimize.
  • Ensure appropriate security measures are adhered to.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Support continual improvement opportunities within the business.
  • Filter and “clean” data, and locate and correct data problems.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Review ad-hoc vs. standard management reporting process to help determine when repetitive ad-hoc requests should be included as standard reporting.
  • Perform various ad-hoc assignments.
  • Familiar with SharePoint site administration.
  • Developing work flows in Power Automate and developing business applications in Power Apps.

What we look for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications, Engineering, Business Management, Mathematics or related field. 
  • 1-2 years as a Business or Data Analyst.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Visualization Software (ie. PowerBI) and Coding (e.g., R, Python, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and possess a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Highly customer-focused and able to manage conflicting priorities.

  • FY24 Performance should be minimum “Consistently Meets Expectations” or higher
