What you'll do:

We are seeking a highly qualified IT End User Enhancement and Inventory Control Analyst to join our dynamic team in assisting and supporting in the delivery of IT end-user enhancement projects and inventory control. The ideal candidate will help develop and improve processes and procedures and ensure smooth operational transitions. This role requires the ability to obtain, review and consolidate all pertinent data from all relevant sources to analyze and formulate results, as well as develop meaningful reports. Part of this role will be to grow internal relationships specific to data control and analysis. Success is defined by the ability to generate useful deductions from large raw data and information collection and present data in a concise manner for effective decision making including the development and execution of interactive dashboards and scorecards. Analysts need to be able to flex evolving data needs as the bank continues to grow and be able to demonstrate expedient response data when required while constantly improving reporting and information designed to assist management in key decision-making processes.

What we are looking for:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of IT end user enhancement projects to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery, adhering to established timelines and constraints.
  • Drive improvements in Helpdesk (HD) and Desktop Support processes to enhance service delivery.
  • Assist in developing and documenting control processes for existing and/or new systems.
  • Support the management of hardware refresh initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to end users.
  • Ensure processes are documented, communicated, and followed consistently.
  • Assist in developing metrics to measure performance and drive changes.
  • Support the design and implementation of training programs for IT support staff and end users.
  • Assist in system verification and testing to ensure new implementations meet requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of ServiceNow (SNOW) processes to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to IT processes and procedures.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support during audit activities.
  • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of reporting.
  • Create value-added reports, metrics, and analyses across multiple dimensions to support initiatives.
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to stakeholders.
  • Support various departments in reaching their goals through analysis.
  • Regularly examine data reports to improve quality and resolve issues.
  • Understand and communicate ideas derived from data.
  • Define, document, and translate high-level requirements into detailed functions.
  • Partner in requirements gathering and documenting stakeholder requirements through the planning, analysis, development, and testing phases.
  • Accountability in building and maintaining new reports and dashboards to provide insight for strategic decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain principles to audiences with varying levels of knowledge on the subject.
  • Tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through rich visualizations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive reporting alignment and address reporting issues.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems and recognizing risks before they become problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field(s) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in IT support, process improvement, and project management.
  • Exceptional Excel skills, including advanced functions, data analysis, and automation.
  • -Asset Management, remediation, and stockroom audit experience
  • Preferred but not required, proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and support processes.
  • Expert experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain data to coworkers
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
  • Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
  • Expertise in other BI tools is a plus (i.e., SQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, SAS, etc.).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Skills

  • ITIL certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in training development and execution.
  • Familiarity with call center operations and metrics.
