Pay: $1250- $1550/ per week (pay compensation based on miles + stops and bonuses) + $1000 Sign on Bonus

What to Expect?

Hazmat Drivers make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.

On a weekly basis our Driver:

  • Will make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.

  • Will complete 1 delivery to Texas and other deliveries throughout Florida market.

  • Start time is in the evening. Driver will have keys to enter the businesses to make the deliveries. All nighttime deliveries.

  • Unload the trailer with an electric pallet jack.

  • Collect documents/ returns/ and pallets from stores.

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.

  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.

  • Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • To be at least 21 years old.

  • A valid Class A commercial driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement or willing to obtain endorsement once hired.

  • To drive a 48’ tractor/ trailer with sleeper berth

  • 1 full year of recent and continuous tractor trailer experience

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). No DUIS or Drug and Alcohol related incidents within the last 5 years. No more than 2 moving violations/at fault accidents combined in the last 3 year. No major moving violations in the last 3 years or more than 1 at fault accident in the last 3 years.

  • The ability to maneuver heavy objects that can weigh up to 100 pounds.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • To carry out instructions with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with PCs and other material handling equipment (preferred).

  • Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake experience a plus!
