Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force’s existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies to support Humanitarian Disaster Relief and crisis response in Australia and nearby regions.

Your Role

As the Avionics Technical Instructor, located at RAAF base Amberley , you will coordinate and deliver the full suite of C27J courses to internal and external employees. Training will be in accordance with relevant regulatory and contractual compliance. You will develop and prepare courseware, deliver assessments and upload to the Learning Management System.  You will maintain, review and modify training materials in accordance and ensure accurate training records are maintained. You will ensure process compliance and be a role model to students and instructors.

About You

 We are looking for a candidate who is approachable and thinks outside the box. You will hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics or Mechanical). Ideally you will have type certification in C27J or C130. You will ideally have experience in delivering training but Training and Assessment qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are welcome to apply.
