What a Partner Marketing Manager does at HP:
Analyze market requirements and translate insights into effective offerings delivered to, with, and through partners.
Conduct post-program analysis and competitive intelligence to evaluate the effectiveness of assigned partner programs and recommend appropriate actions.
Develop and deliver sales enablement and education programs for HP, channel, and partner sales teams.
Provide ongoing training and sales support to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives.
Identify and align cross-organizational and cross-regional marketing plans to ensure consistent messaging and execution.
Lead the development of marketing collateral and campaign assets to generate strong marketing demand.
Support the development and execution of partner marketing plans and programs.
Collaborate closely with partner sales and account teams to drive market demand and pipeline growth.
Plan and organize partner-focused marketing events and engagement activities.
Coordinate with Marketing Communications and other internal teams to ensure the successful execution of quarterly marketing plans.
Recommend and develop program metrics, performance goals, and benchmarks to measure effectiveness and impact.
Perform additional responsibilities as required based on business needs and role scope.
Individuals who will do well in this role in HP, usually possess:
Degree or MBA in Marketing or related field
Min 4 years marketing experience.
Partner, sales, industry or channel experience a plus.
In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
Experience in developing and driving consistency with partners.
Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage virtual teams.
Strong negotiating skills.
Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management and functional disciplines.
Strong ability to influence and drive consensus.
