Point72’s Broker Strategy team is responsible for ensuring the firm’s access to the highest quality resources from the sell-side in its pursuit of superior, risk adjusted returns. We dive deep into our investment teams’ needs, our execution and financing requirements, and the constraints and priorities of our banking counterparts. Leveraging this information and strategy, we maximize the long-term value of our global Compliance-approved broker partnerships firmwide.

What you'll do

• Analyze and maintain reporting on how the firm pays for and consumes broker services.
• Collect and organize feedback from Investment Professionals and Services teams on broker service quality and resources.
• Translate qualitative input into structured insights for counterparty evaluations.
• Partner with Business and Investment Services teams to review trends.
• Combine wallet, resource consumption, and qualitative feedback into broker scorecards.
• Drive cadence of broker votes and review meetings across the firm and deliver feedback.
• Assist in building a holistic balance of payments model across counterparties with a focus on strategic firm priorities.
• Collaborate with Data Sourcing, Technology, and business leaders to drive the firm’s Broker Data Strategy.
• Own the Data Scorecard evaluation process and deliver feedback to brokers.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on data priorities and support discussions with brokers on new data products, pricing, and documentation terms.

What's required

• 5+ years of sell-side or buy-side experience with a solid understanding of the hedge fund industry.
• Experience with systematic and quantitative market data, research, and technology needs.
• Familiarity with sell-side data, research, analytics platforms, and data contract negotiations.
• Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Tableau, Databricks, and a demonstrated aptitude to learn new systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong team player who can work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-supporting abilities in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
