We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and well-rounded sr content marketer to create strategic, engaging, and innovative content for our customer service and field service audiences.
If you're the right candidate, then storytelling, strategy, and organizational skills are in your DNA. Your colleagues would describe you as resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and open to acting on constructive feedback. You probably have your company's style guide memorized -- and you have a sixth sense for when a piece of content isn't striking the right tone. This team member will also forge relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create strategic content that suits the service audience's needs.
Responsibilities
Create and execute a content strategy for our field service business that aligns with priorities for the rest of the service portfolio.
Build and execute on video content strategy for all Service products from the ground up that creates measurable ROI for the business.
Partner with our community lead to showcase Serviceblazer stories that explain our products and benefits throughout our channels, and encourage engagement and growth in the community.
Write, edit, and curate original content for the service personas in a way that is search optimized, relevant, and informative. This includes long-form blog posts, technical deep-dives, customer success stories, and industry-specific thought leadership.
Edit existing content to improve SEO ranking, readability, and relevance.
Use content of all kinds, including influencer interviews, media bylines, blog posts, gated assets to meet content marketing goals and objectives.
Interview Salesforce customers and internal experts to tell their unique, inspiring stories and translate complex technical concepts into accessible, customer-focused narratives.
Own end-to-end content project management from conception to publication, including customer interviews, video editing, social promotion, and asset development.
Uphold Salesforce voice and tone in every piece of content, while adapting messaging for different channels, audiences, and campaign objectives
Collaborate with content strategists, editorial leads, product marketing, creative, campaigns, social media, customer marketing, influencers, sales enablement teams, and service leaders as key stakeholders
Create strategic newsletter content that balances promotional messaging with genuine value for enterprise service audiences.
Meet fast-paced deadlines while managing multiple concurrent high-priority projects
Required Skills & Experience
Writing is your passion. You love to write short and long-form assets, including blog posts, articles, video scripts, social media copy, newsletters, gated content and much more.
5+ years of experience in content creation, journalism, or professional writing/editing at a tech company (or within a similar fast-paced industry).
Knowledge of how to speak to service leaders and audiences, as well as content marketing, social media, and content delivery trends.
Creative project management skills with ability to own multi-faceted content initiatives from ideation through publication and performance tracking
Creative and proactive thinker who can not only identify gaps or opportunities, but also offers ways to address them. When you encounter obstacles, you find an effective solution with a positive mindset.
Proven track record of optimizing content for organic traffic growth and developing integrated content strategies that support product launches and rebrands.
Experience translating technical product features into customer benefits and business value, particularly for AI and automation solutions
Demonstrated ability to identify content gaps, pitch new initiatives to leadership, and execute successful audience segmentation strategies
Excessively organized and prepared. Your calendar is your best friend, and while leading meetings with stakeholders, you make sure their time is well spent.
Proven ability to work well with internal and external customers and navigate complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience working with Optimizely, Quip, AEM, and Wordpress is a plus. Video editing experience is a plus.
