While expanding our existing footprint to build the largest end-to-end CDMO across both Europe and North America, we are in Global Sourcing and Procurement looking for a Head of Procurement Excellence to join our team, and to be leading a team of professionals.

Your New Role

As Head of Procurement Excellence, you will lead, and develop a strong team of Professionals.

You will be an essential part of the Global Sourcing & Procurement Leadership Team and together with this team, develop Global Sourcing & Procurement to become a strong strategic partner to our business.

This includes leading global projects, as well as owning relevant global processes, Business Intelligence and Sustainability program.

You will be a key in the sparring with the global organization in terms of resolving challenges and ensuring that we make the right decisions for the ambitious growth plans.

You will also drive the overall procurement strategy relating to systems, digitalization, policies, and processes.

You will own our cross-functional enablers in the Global Sourcing & Procurement organization ensuring relevant sourcing infrastructure, supply chain sustainability and our procurement toolbox is in place.

You will be leading a team of 6-8 people in this role and will be expected to ensure that personal development is integrated in the day-to-day leadership of each individual.

Each team member is very self-driven, and the leadership style should reflect the ability to Macro-manage while ensuring strong deliveries towards the rest of the global team.

Some of the key deliverables for this position include:

• Take responsibility for our Global Sourcing & Procurement transformation program anchoring and delivering on our ambitions and organizational development plan
• Develop and execute a structured procurement excellence strategy professionalizing procurement by focusing on transparency, digitalization, compliance, and reporting.
• Drive our supply chain sustainability strategy and support related activities in close collaboration with the business

Skills & Knowledge, we hope you possess

• A completed master’s degree e.g., supply chain, project management, business administration, economics etc.
• 5-10 years’ experience working with procurement and/or supply chain in international organizations or a consultancy company.
• Experience driving organizational transformation and change management across all organizational layers.
• Experience with or a strong interest in climate and environmental agenda and how to drive sustainability throughout the supply chain
• You have professional proficiency in English. Danish is useful, but not required.

Your New Team & Department

You will become a part of a very ambitious and relatively new but rapidly developing team, where we are taking ownership of strategic and tactical sourcing aspects for our business - from category strategy development and until implementation at both Global, Regional and Site level. Our team covers all sourcing needs within Direct Spend and Indirect Spend areas.
