Job Summary

The Lead Software Engineer – ServiceNow HRSD is the technical lead and platform owner for ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD Pro). This role drives design, implementation, integrations, and long term support while ensuring Workday remains the system of record and ServiceNow serves as the system of engagement for HR workflows and employee experiences.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the design and implementation of HRSD Pro, including HR Agent Workspace, HR case management, Employee Center, and service catalogs. 

  • Configure HR workflows including case lifecycle, SLAs, approvals, routing, escalations, templates, and HR services. 

  • Partner with Integration teams to implement and support Workday ↔ ServiceNow integrations, maintaining Workday as SSOT. 

  • Enable HR self service experiences using Virtual Agent and knowledge management. 

  • Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders during implementation and transition to SteadyState ownership. 

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance standards for HR data. 

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and L3 support for HRSD. 

  • Support platform upgrades and continuous improvements. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of ServiceNow experience, with hands on HRSD implementation leadership. 

  • Strong experience implementing HR case management and employee workflows. 

  • Strong ServiceNow development skills (JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub). 

  • Experience leading cross functional enterprise initiatives. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, HRSD. 

  • Experience with Virtual Agent and AI assisted HR workflows. 

  • Experience working with global HR organizations.
