Perform the day to day functions of the general ledger department.
Main Activities:
- Work closely with the other financial services departments to prepare monthly entries for all agencies and ensure that reconciliation items are cleared on a timely basis.
- Prepare and review of monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations, including but not limited to, Notes & Loan Payable, Capital Lease accounts, Intercompany Accounts. Prepare journal entries accordingly.
- Maintain sub-ledgers for some balance sheet accounts and ensure timely and accurate recording of adjustments based on those sub-ledgers.
- Back up to maintain daily cash reports; prepare and update cash flow projections for the year; prepare Bank Balance Reports for Investment Accounts
- Assist in the annual process. Prepare and review annual audit reconciliations and work papers.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Back up to prepare required monthly reports and letters to satisfy banking and financing requirements.
- Maintain and prepare quarterly reconciliation of community trust's receipts and disbursements to investment and individual statements
- Maintain and reconcile annual lease schedule and minimum lease commitment schedules
- Prepare and submit annual NYS sales tax reporting
- Review and prepare allocation of monthly executive credit card activities
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
- Perform related work, as required.

Schedule Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Pay rate: $31.25
