We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Text to Speech (TTS) Senior Voice Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background (experience or knowledge) in developing and implementing TTS models specifically for automotive voice assistants. Person should be well-versed in the latest advancements in Test to Speech technology, including generative AI and next-generation TTS frameworks.

Your Impact:

  • Understand core concepts of speech technology/domain.
  • Build, test, tune and deliver the neural voices as per customer requirement
  • Analysis of Cerence product requirements.
  • Work on different voice building techniques with the internal teams.
  • Partner closely with customers and Cerence team members to establish and maintain clear, concise communication through regular reporting, meeting participation, and follow-up.
  • Contribute to advancing technologies and services by providing input and recommendations from project experiences.

What you bring:

  • Computational Linguist
  • 3+ years of working experience
  • 2+ years of experience in speech domain/technologies.
  • Experiences in programing (R, Matlab, Python).
  • Exposure to different speech toolkit (HTK, SLTK).
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
  • Demonstrate ability to accept new technologies and tools quickly.
  • Strong team player and customer focus.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Experience in TTS voice building using Festvox or any other technology (preffered).
  • Programming experience with scripting languages Perl and/or AWK (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning (preferred).
