Join Loblaw Companies Limited as a Pricing Manager in our Super Market Division, where we will deliver outstanding products and customer programs to retail stores across Canada.
The Pricing Manager will manage regional pricing and promotional activity along with Western seasonal programs. Reporting to the Category Director, we are a diverse and dynamic team that is data-driven, customer-centric, and passionate about food.
What You'll Be Doing :
Pricing
· Manage price matching activity (ad & shelf)
· Manage target modeling
· Daily price maintenance
· Provide competitive price review
Flyer Promotional Activity
· Alert Category Directors and Merchants to relevant competitive activity
· Key final flyer prices into SAP, adjust as needed based on post-production price match activity.
Non-Flyer Promotional Activity
· Monitor the industry relative to competitive trends
· Select and submit appropriate (ad-matched) items or rush ads
· Proof and approve ads.
· Coordinate with Supply Chain
What You’ll Need to Succeed
· Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
· Proven ability to contribute to category plans in line with corporate strategies
· Good communication skills
· Ability to gather and synthesize customer and market insight and information
· 1 to 3 years merchandising experience
· Proven ability to contribute to category plans in-line with corporate strategies
· Good communication and organizational skills
· Ability to price, cost, assort items, create articles and upload templates in SAP
· Proven Analytical experience
· Proficient with MS Office (specifically Excel)
