About the position

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on FP&A Manager to join the Automated Logic Field finance team. In this role, you will lead core financial planning and reporting processes, providing the accuracy and insights needed to guide key business decisions. You’ll leverage strong technical and analytical skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership. Beyond the numbers, you will partner closely with field teams and the broader finance organization to align execution with financial goals and drive improvements in forecasting, cost management, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Core FP&A:

  • Lead the P&L roadmap process for Automated Logic Field, focusing on the “why” behind results and variances and delivering a clear story to leadership.
  • Manage HFM loads and consolidations to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions.
  • Oversee weekly orders reporting, functional cost tracking, and causal analysis to explain performance drivers.
  • Maintain and update burden rates and service billable rates, ensuring accuracy and transparency across the business.

Budget & Compliance:

  • Drive budget compliance by monitoring monthly spend flux and ensuring proper variance explanations.
  • Lead annual plan and forecast cycles for operating expenses, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with Field, HR, and Finance teams to align headcount planning to support workforce optimization and business goals.
  • Manage functional budgets across Digital, Sales, Operations, Service, and other functions.

Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner closely with field teams and leadership to ensure alignment between local execution and broader financial objectives.
  • Develop executive-ready reports and summaries that distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Drive process improvements in forecasting, cost management, and reporting efficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to inform strategic decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years’ experience in finance/FP&A or advanced degree with 5 years in finance/FP&A

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Construction, contracting, or HVAC industry experience.
  • Hands on, Exceptional computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills; computer skills, at a minimum, should include demonstrated proficiency in using Excel and PowerPoint. HFM/Hyperion Financial Management and SAP preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and provide financial leadership across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to report on analysis concisely and effectively both orally and in written format
