Accenture currently has an opportunity for an experienced and strategic Inside Sales Specialist in their Sydney – North Sydney office. The right candidate will join a fun and energetic team delivering digital marketing expertise to the Australia and New Zealand market, and an integral part of growing our business. 

 

We are partnering with our client, a leading social media platform to grow advertising revenue by helping businesses build brand awareness, increase sales, and much more. Our client’s ad solutions leverage our company’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences as they use our clients’ cutting-edge advertising platform. 

 

In this role, you will lead a world-class team to build and grow B2B partnerships with key SMB customers, delivering exceptional customer experiences through strategic sales and account management – driving their success through effective advertising strategies. Beyond team leadership, you’ll develop programs to scale our client’s operations, solve customer challenges, and drive revenue growth.

You’ll mentor and coach the team to meet quarterly sales targets, exceed customer expectations, identify sales opportunities and optimise workflows. Success requires exceptional people management, analytical skills, a willingness to innovate, and a passion for driving revenue growth whilst thriving in a dynamic team environment.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and motivate a high-performing team of Sales Representatives, dedicated to supporting and expanding both new and existing partnerships through increased investment with our clients ad platform.  

  • Provide leadership, mentorship and development opportunities to empower team members whilst leveraging individual strengths to drive optimal performance.  

  • Drive revenue growth by setting and achieving strategic goals through effective go-to-market strategies, gap to goal plans, and consistent KPI management 

  • Analyse team book of business performance to identify obstacles and implement solutions that enhance productivity and success 

  • Foster a results-driven culture by motivating the team to meet and exceed individual and team KPIs. 

  • Create a collaborative learning environment that encourages knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. 

  • Oversee daily operations and workflows of the team, ensuring they are organised, efficient and aligned with the business goals.  

  • Ensure all client SLA targets are consistently met across key areas such as performance management, people management, quality assurance, recruitment, policy communication, transition management, and more.  

  • Identify and refine operational processes to increase efficiency, enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred 

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an account management, sales or customer service role; experience in Advertising Sales, Digital Marketing or Media Agencies is desirable 

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a Team Lead, Manager or other Leadership role in a sales environment, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.  

  • Flexible and quick learner, able to adapt to continuously evolving digital advertising landscape to help SMB clients grow their business on the advertising platform 

  • Experience in or knowledge of digital marketing, performance advertising and eCommerce 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights and make data-driven decisions to optimise campaign performance and identify operational improvements 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, solutions mindset, supportive nature, passion for the customer and customer experience 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative team player and a proactive approach to problem solving 

  • Sales aptitude; fostering strong client relationships whilst meeting sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client accounts 

  • Demonstrate speed, agility, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, ability to ramp up quickly 

  • Proficiency with CRM & Reporting tools is beneficial (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Monday.com, Tableau) 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel & Word
