The Design Evaluation engineer will be working as part of a project team comprised of members from disciplines such as marketing, product, assembly, quality and process engineering to bring product concept to a released mass production solution. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.

Debug and verify hardware design through software development
Responsible for silicon evaluation, creation of evaluation/characterization plans and bench measurement solutions
Develop and implement methodologies to be used in evaluation boards as well a prepare documentation including user guides for software
Responsible for component selection, schematic capture and hardware released through hardware life cycle management
Responsible for any software updates and general software management for future revisions

Key Qualifications

With solid analytical skills to solve complex problems through design of appropriate experiments and analysis of complex data
Solid background in electronics, Analog and Digital analysis.
Knowledge in High-Speed Products is a plus
Knowledge of communication protocol such as SPI, I2C, etc.
Knowledge of software languages ideally in LabVIEW, VB, Python and C/C#, AZCG is a must.
Knowledge of mixed signal PCB design and associated CAD/Simulation tools such as Cadence Allegro or OrCAD
Experience in Hardware development for new products: PCB schematic entry and layout, preferably using Cadence tools.
Independent, self driven and enthusiastic.
Ability to work with global teams across different time zones.
Educat
BS  Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering. MS Degree is an advantage.
