Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking an accomplished Senior IT Operations Manager with senior level management and IT operations experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of IT systems in a complex, multi-platform environment, which includes the managing, monitoring, support, and maintenance of all IT Operations activities. Manages and provides direction to IT Operations staff to achieve department and company goals. Demonstrates the skills, behaviors, and attitudes consistent with the strategic objectives and values of the organization. Demonstrates the sense of urgency and commitment required for managing a 24/7 operation. Plans and manages the efforts of the department to provide effective and efficient computer systems that enable the company to meet its business plan. Guides and manages staff, answers questions, provides management direction and scheduling to meet established goals. Meets with subordinate supervisors and/or managers to review progress of work, resolve problems, and ensure standards of quality and quantity of work are met. Maintains a good understanding of business line functions, needs, and changes. Evaluates performance of assigned personnel. Manages staff of up to 100 employees. Makes recommendations regarding hires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards, and reviews. Works within salary and personnel administration guidelines. Plans, develops, and controls moderate to large project/product budgets.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 10 years experience with a data center operating environment, day-to-day operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Working experience in:
-Information security management
-IT service management (ITSM)
-IT systems management
-Application delivery process
-IT project management

Extensive experience in:
-ITIL service delivery
-IT environment
-Telecommunications
-Hardware infrastructure

Subject matter expert in:
-Computer Operations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00
