The Casualty Product Development Officer is a strategic leadership role responsible for supporting AIG underwriting leadership to achieve best in class results for assigned commercial casualty lines, such as Commercial General Liability (CGL), Commercial Auto (CA), and Workers’ Compensation (WC). The role requires a deep understanding of ISO and NCCI rates, rules and forms, as well as knowledge of underwriting procedures, issuance systems and premium audit functions. The Casualty Product Officer will also own the end-to-end product development processes across all North America business units, while working very closely with the systems (Duck Creek, Majesco and other rate/quote/issue systems) implementation team.
Other responsibilities include improved efficiency and effectiveness of product development and management end-to-end processes, ensuring that operational and customer performance standards are both established and attained. The role will also ensure adherence to established target operating models, as well as establishing and adhering to product regulatory and compliance requirements. The Casualty Product Officer of North America will also be a key driver in the management of an AIG Global Forms Library working with CUOs, Operations, IT and Legal. The Casualty Product Officer will also provide strategic direction as appropriate regarding product development, regulatory and compliance process needs outside NA, with the support of international and resources in the regions.

The role is to develop and lead casualty product development and product management initiatives, across all casualty business units in North America, including Canada, prioritizing, and focusing on General Liability, Commercial Auto and Workers’ Compensation. This includes developing product development guidelines, product workflows, and the product development business model.
