Job Description

U.S. Bank has a great opportunity as we are seeking a Lending Services Syndicated Loan Quality Reviewer to join the team! If you have experience in commercial lending, syndication closing, or mortgage industry and have a high-level attention to detail, apply today. 

  • Primary responsibilities include performing pre and post booking quality review for Syndicated and/or Asset Based loans in accordance with operational procedure and credit policy requirements.
  • Cites and documents errors and ensures corrections are completed timely and accurately.
  • Performs tracking and monitoring of outstanding quality review items. May perform corrections on the loan system of record.
  • Syndicated Loan Quality Reviewer has a crucial role on the team as they are responsible for ensuring the operating requirements for Syndicated and or Asset Based loans are met. They will manage risk associated with day-to-day operational activities.
  • The Syndicated Loan Quality Reviewer will ensure borrower/agent requests adhere to the credit agreement terms while processing requests timely.
  • They will review attorney prepared loan documents to ensure U.S. Bank can meet all operating, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
  • Interact with business partners and team members to promote teamwork and operational effectiveness.
  • They work as a liaison between business lines and lender banks while facilitating communication internally and externally, as necessary.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Management, or equivalent work experience
  • Four to six years of related experience


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of operational, administrative and accounting requirements for loan servicing
  • Ability to understand operational and administrative risk as related to syndicated credits
  • Strong relationship management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with minimal guidance
  • Excellent customer service/relations skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with administration of syndicated transactions including loan processing and closing mechanics

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $29.42 - $39.23 - $43.15
