We are seeking a Compliance Analyst for the KYC team within our Corporate Compliance team in Baar, Switzerland, on a temporary basis (12 months). In this role, you will be working in a highly diverse and fast paced international environment with the opportunity to contribute to the compliance programme. You will have frequent interactions with the business and other departments locally and globally while being part of our KYC & AML team, with colleagues based across several countries.
The main tasks and responsibilities include
to ensure compliance with Glencore’s Compliance Programme, including sanctions, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption and bribery and terrorist financing frameworks, among others.
to conduct KYC due diligence on counterparties across Glencore’s business, including those that:
provide services or products essential to the day-to-day operations of Glencore’s offices worldwide
supply services ancillary to our marketing business
are suppliers and clients of minerals, metals and coal-related materials within our marketing business (e.g. producers, traders, end users)
screen counterparties and related parties using relevant screening tools (sanctions, adverse media, etc.) as part of the KYC process
collect and analyse company information, directorship details and corporate structures/ownership as part of the KYC process
work with team members on various compliance enquiries

Qualifications and requirements
academic degree (or equivalent)
relevant working experience (e.g. in KYC, AML, sanctions or equivalent) is a benefit, but not essential
experience from an international company is an asset
interest in compliance topics
fluent in English (corporate language), any additional language is a benefit, but not essential
very good written and verbal communication skills
holds a valid Swiss work permit, or CH / EU / EFTA citizenship
