The Crown Is Yours

We’re searching for a Compliance Specialist (Governance & Control) to join our Risk Enablement team, focusing on maintaining and enhancing control and governance processes related to compliance risk within the organization. In this position, you will frequently interact with our Risk Operations Management, Regulatory Operations, Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Customer Leadership teams to ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory control and compliance control requirements. We’re looking for individuals who have a deep understanding of risk management principles and take ownership of their responsibilities, all while delivering a best-in-class customer experience. 

What you’ll do as a Compliance Specialist, Risk Enablement (Governance & Control)

  • Design, implement, and maintain compliance governance frameworks and processes that align with regulatory requirements across our business. 

  • Maintain and leverage relationships with cross-functional departments and stakeholders.

  • Regularly assess and update risk alerts and processes to ensure alignment with evolving laws and regulations, while conducting comprehensive risk assessments and audits.

  • Ensure adherence to governance processes and resolve operational barriers to support efficient and compliant business operations.

  • Prepare and present compliance risk reports with actionable recommendations for senior management based on compliance data and stakeholder feedback.

 

What you’ll bring   

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, governance, or a related area.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage tasks with urgency, ensuring high-quality, timely completion while proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.

  • Effective communication skills to report project progress to stakeholders, fostering a team-oriented environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs, with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks.

  • On occasion, willingness to work flexible hours as needed.  

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required State Gaming Licenses.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 64,000.00 USD - 80,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
