The position will be responsible for the supervision and documentation of financial reporting and analysis. This role will participate in 3-12 month rolling forecasting, month-end closing, and various ad-hoc financial and accounting duties. This role will also assist in non-trade inter-company transactions. Leads/supervises 1-2 junior level Finance professionals, typically without budget or hire/fire authority. Focuses on coaching, coordination and delegation of operational work responsibilities.

Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:  Other duties may be assigned.  In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:

  • Assist in preparing 3-12 month business forecasts, including analysis of mobile devices' sales quantities, wholesale prices, COGS, and overhead expenses, as well as monitoring changes in the business environment to support financial visibility for management.
  • Support month-end closing activities by assisting with the SAP Controlling (CO) module, ensuring accurate revenue/COGS recognition and expense allocation across profit segments and cost centers.
  • Prepare and provide financial reports as required, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for management review.
  • Assist in coordinating monthly inter-company transaction activities and follow up on requests to maintain appropriate margin levels for the HQ Support Division.
  • Support finance or administrative projects and tasks assigned by financial management, such as royalty calculations, litigation-related financial data preparation, and other ad-hoc assignments.
  • Under uncertain economic conditions, such as fluctuating tariffs, assist in preparing materials and simulations to support leadership decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience in financial or operational analysis is preferred.
