Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective Automation Energy Industries digital sales strategy within the regional market and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (such as other Sales Managers and Specialists within your scope) to achieve the sales targets, maintaining a high performance.

This role is contributing to the Automation Energy Industries in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Participating in the negotiation of key/strategic contracts.
Identifying, monitoring, and maintaining/exceeding the sales market price levels, after evaluating the pricing impact on the results with the Product Management team.
Supporting local Sales organizations to ensure the achievement of sales volume and product mix targets.
Monitoring client financial status and reporting any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams.

Qualifications for the role
Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Information Technology, with proven experience in industrial digital solutions and implementations.
You have 5+ years of experience in business development and customer-facing roles in industrial digital solutions.
You are immersed in digital industrial strategy, IT/OT architectures, and AI applied to industrial processes, and you enjoy working with digital business models, cybersecurity frameworks, and system design methodologies in the Energy (Oil & Gas, Power, Renewables) and Utilities market.
Possess an enhanced knowledge of industrial cybersecurity, digital portfolio management, software development, system design, and MES system implementations.
Ability to demonstrate your experience in commercial and digital solution roles
You are passionate about building partnerships, driving innovation, and creating value through digital transformation, with strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.
You are at ease communicating in English at an advanced level.
