PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of the Channel Pricing Manager is to develop and execute an effective pricing strategy that takes into account our revenue and profitability targets while integrating a strong value proposition. The Pricing Manager is responsible for setting, maintaining, and monitoring prices for our product lines globally. Additional responsibilities includes; competitive price analysis, promotion creation, and working collaboratively on cost down projects. This position requires a combination of strong analytical skills, and business acumen. The ideal candidate analyzes market trends and customer feedback to ensure that the company’s pricing strategies are competitive and attractive to target customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability
  • Working closely with other teams to understand price and cost positions
  • Monitoring and reporting on pricing performance and competitiveness
  • Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
  • Assist in creating promotional campaigns, and conducting pricing optimization and cost-benefit analysis
  • Developing pricing proposals for new products and services
  • Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors
  • Collaborating with product, sales, and finance teams on pricing decisions
  • Staying updated with pricing best practices and market dynamics
  • Utilizing 8020 methodology to guide pricing strategy.
  • Provide input and guidance on pricing strategy to our teams in the emerging markets.
  • Pricing responsibilities will extend beyond our channel and will include OEM and direct customers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A college degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA a plus
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a role with significant exposure to managing the pricing process, implementing pricing initiatives and creating/tracking promotions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge and experience on 8020 would be preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of industrial product in a global marketplace would be preferred.

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong collaborator / team player
  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, planning skills and presentation skills.
  • Some overnight travel <10%

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products with expertise in Excel

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience within an office environment and manufacturing complex and the performance of general office functions.
  • General Manufacturing, warehouse, and office environment.
