We are seeking motivated and customer-centric individuals to join our team as a Financial Customer Service Agent. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers with inquiries and providing solutions related to their financial accounts. You will interact with customers through phone, email, and chat to deliver exceptional service, ensure timely resolution of concerns, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Start Date: September 27, 2024

Office Location: Hybrid (Onsite & Remote); 345 Ridout St. London, ON.

Responsibilities 

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support

  • Update customer files with appropriate information and ensure information being placed in customer files follow regulatory, client specific, and corporate guidelines

  • Engage with customers on all inbound/outbound calls, emails, and other channels of communication applicable and/ or supports to update customer’s account information

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and/or email

  • Familiarize self with finance products, marketplace lending and personal loan products to be able to provide assistance across a wide range of inquiries

  • See and understand trends, collate data and escalate issues to Customer Experience Management

  • Champion company core values and other company programs

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Full Time Opportunity

  • Hybrid Work Policy - 2 Days in Office Per Week

  • Open availability required from Monday to Friday 8AM-10PM

  • 4 Week Hybrid Training (Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm)

  • No extended time off or vacation within the first 6 months of employment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business, finance, or related field is an asset).
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a financial or contact center environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and applications (MS Office, CRM software).
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when handling challenging situations.
