Join the Financial Technology – Post-Trade Product Engineering organization, specializing in state‑of‑the‑art exchange software for post‑trade clearing operations at the world’s leading exchanges.
Role Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer Specialist, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
Plan, execute, and maintain tests for product integration
Automate suitable integration test cases at API level
Hands-on experience in test automation using Java, RxJava, Playwright, Shell scripting
Use metrics to make sure we deliver good quality and focus our testing in the right areas
Update and build required documentation and reports
Work together with QA leads and delivery leads from various product teams to plan and implement the needed tests to make sure all components integrate well
Track and maintain defect lists and aid development teams to ensure resolution of reported defects
Ability to build good relationships with peers, business partners, and other stakeholders
Working language is English
We expect you to have
Experience Level: 6-8 years
Primary Skills: Java, RxJava, React/Typescript, Playwright, Shell scripting
Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems or related subject area, or equivalent work experience
It would be phenomenal if you have
Knowledge on Capital Markets – Clearing houses, post-trade functionalities – specifically Risk Management and Market Data.
Experience from working with financial systems especially trading, clearing, settlement systems
Knowledge about Financial Math
Knowledge about AWS and Docker containers
