Summary:
In this role, you will manage the daily operations for Provista procurement and act as an on-going resource to our centers administrative team to maintain partnership, as well as lead new implementations. You will assist in revenue growth through work/project alignment through departmental managerial collaboration and resourcefulness.
Responsibilities:
Oversee operations of the Procurement team, to include but not limited to addressing issues and assisting in resolution, leading efficiency initiatives, and providing support to staff as it relates to material management and best practices.
Maintain relationship with facility administration through various communications and reports to show center material management specifics and value adds.
Manage employees of the Procurement team as it relates to managerial direction/oversight for our customers.
Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Become involved in any escalated issues that may arise with the center to ensure quick resolution.
Work closely with managerial colleagues to increase efficiencies and revenue growth through various projects and initiatives.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that are aligned with business goals and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
5 or more years of relevant experience required.
Health care or supply chain experience required.
Ability to build relationships with internal teams and connect with distribution partners, suppliers, and end-user customers.
Must have excellent customer services and presentation skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Salesforce as a CRM tool is a plus.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $109,700.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
