Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

The Embedded Developer will contribute significantly to technology and development projects by identifying and implementing innovative solutions. In this role, you will use your technical knowledge to oversee development tasks and to contribute to strategic technology plans and the project portfolio.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Measurement and Analytics Division in Bangalore

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design, development and implementation of solutions ensuring performance, maintainability and scalability of embedded systems.
• Design and maintain components for the software products and co-own system architecture maintaining up to date documentation.
• Work with distributed team and finish tasks on time with high quality.
• Responsible for conceptualization and driving of the design, development, testing and deployment of applications across the various product lines.
• Maintain existing software and test infrastructure. Develop software components and features for embedded systems.
• Demonstrate sound understanding and usages of R&D processes and tools.

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in computer applications with 6 - 8 years of professional experience in design and development.
•  Minimum of 4+ years of experience in embedded systems.
•  Strong understanding of object-oriented programming using C++ and Linux development environment.
•  Strong hands-on coding experience with advanced C++ versions (C++14/C++17).
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix System programming, with a solid understanding of embedded real-time development for cross-platform applications, preferably in a Linux-based environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of databases such as MS SQL, SQL lite, MongoDB, DynamoDB etc.
• Good understanding of IPC, memory management, code analysis tools.
• Familiarity of Cybersecurity fundamentals
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
•  Strong leadership and mentorship skills with ability to guide and motivate junior engineers.
•  A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
