Job Summary:

Acrisure is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer on the ETG Service Technology and Automation team. This role designs, develops, and optimizes solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support IT Service Management, onboarding & terminations, HR processes, security workflows, enterprise integrations, and cross‑business automation initiatives.

You will work closely with ITSM leadership, Process Owners, Platform Architecture, Security, and business teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable, and governed solutions in a fast‑moving environment.

Responsibilities:

Platform Development

  • Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, flows, and custom solutions aligned with Acrisure’s enterprise automation strategy.
  • Configure and enhance ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, and other platform modules as required.
  • Build automation using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and server‑side and client‑side scripting.
  • Develop scoped applications and extend the platform to support unique business needs across Acrisure’s global business units.

Integrations & Data

  • Build and maintain REST and SOAP integrations with internal and external systems (e.g., HRIS, identity platforms, monitoring tools, financial systems).
  • Support onboarding/termination automation through data integrations and workflow orchestration.
  • Enhance and maintain CMDB health, reconciliation rules, population jobs, and service mapping where applicable.

Platform Operations & Governance

  • Collaborate with the Director of Service Technology & Automation and Platform Owner to support governance, standards, and architectural guardrails.
  • Participate in defining development best practices, coding standards, naming conventions, and documentation expectations.
  • Align development with Acrisure’s change management, security, and compliance policies.

Upgrades, Releases & Quality Assurance

  • Lead technical activities for biannual ServiceNow upgrades, including remediation, testing, ATF development, and compatibility validation.
  • Manage update sets, source control, and deployment pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues to ensure platform performance, stability, and reliability.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Product Owners, Process Designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Influence platform roadmap discussions with insight into new capabilities, architecture considerations, and delivery impacts.
  • Contribute to ServiceNow strategy across Acrisure’s enterprise service landscape.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-8 years hands‑on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong expertise with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow data structures.
  • Proven experience implementing and enhancing ITSM and at least one additional module (ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, etc.).
  • Experience building API integrations, including OAuth‑based and MID Server–based integrations.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and enterprise operational workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.
  • Ability to design solutions that scale across global, complex businesses—ideally in a rapidly growing environment like Acrisure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • CIS: ITSM, HRSD, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSM, or other specialties
  • Service Portal or UI Builder
  • Automation workflows for onboarding/terminations
  • CMDB governance and service mapping
  • ATF (Automated Test Framework)
  • Git, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
