Summary:
Requirement analysis, Design, technical architecture creation for the applications to meet business process and application requirements. As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that solutions meet evolving business requirements. Throughout the day, the engineer balances coding, testing, and refining software elements while adapting to feedback and shifting priorities to deliver high-quality results that support organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1 Providing technical feasibility and creating technical architecture for the application.
2 Providing the integration architecture for the portal.
3 Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
4 Deliver high quality, unit tested code.
5 Creating the HLD and LLD for the client requirements.
6 Produce necessary documentation both technical and end-users targeted.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have-
1 Liferay DXP - OSGI Development.
2 Proficiency / knowledge / Experience in Liferay 7.X development knowledge of Portlet creation, themes development, working/Development knowledge of Hook/module, services, extensions.
3 Experience on Testing Automation and Dev Ops.
4 Integration knowledge of External systems like LDAP, AD, Open ID, CMS Management.
5 Hands on knowledge of SQL.
6 Knowledge of good development practices TDD, principles and patterns, continuous integration.
7 Experience on providing technical solutions for the Client requirements.
Good to Have-
1 Hands on knowledge of Spring MVC.
2 Hands on knowledge of J2EE specification Servlet, JSPs and tag libraries
3 Hands on knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX
4 Hands on experience on OSGI.
5 Experience on Rest Web Services.
Additional Information:
1 At least 10 years of software development experience into JAVA/J2EE.
2 Minimum 3 years of experience in Portal Development.
3 Minimum 3 years of experience in Liferay DXP Architecture.
4 This position is based at our Pune office.
5 A 15 years full time education is required.
