Generally, the team is form in Squad where each squad consist of Squad Lead, Business Analyst, Dev lead, Developers and Testers. This Squad structure provides more connectivity among team members and allows us to deliver faster as all resources work as one group on dedicated tasks.
 

About the Role
 

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Data Business Analyst to join our team. This position will work with one or more business domains, supporting a strategic program aimed at delivering Data as a Strategy solutions. The role will predominantly focus on gathering and analysing requirements, defining processes, and creating user stories. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and other roles within the tribe, translating requirements into both functional and data specifications. This role requires a solid understanding of data management principles, analytical skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into user stories and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field / or related work experience.
• 5+ years of IT business analyst experience, or related role such as data analyst.
• Background in data engineering is a strong benefit.

Technical Skills

• Broad understanding of software development methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages.
• Analyzing data and understanding it’s specific business impacts.
• Experience working closely with data architecture and a high-level understanding of data models & schemas.
• Comfortable analyzing data-specific requirements.
• Facilitation skills: ability to facilitate workshops.
• Strong communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• Good understanding of process and data flow & creation of related artifacts.
• Understanding of the role of a BA in the full software development life cycle.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories and technical specifications on complex or large projects; business requirements gathering, dependency mapping.
• Previous experience of working in an agile environment and using recognized development methodologies, e.g., Agile, SCRUM, and KANBAN.
• Relevant certifications in data management, data warehousing concepts or related fields are a plus, but not essential.
• Understanding of SQL, Python or other programming languages used for data manipulation or ETL tools like Informatica, Talend or Streamsets would be a benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and meticulously document business requirements and processes.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security is maintained when translating business requirements into user stories.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritise data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users and other team members on data-related tools and processes.
• Develop complex systems specifications, process flow, and conversion strategies.
• Create complex technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and functional user documentation.
• Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet desired product needs.
• Follow established business processes, protocols, and quality standards in the development and deployment of complex solutions.
• Maintain stakeholder expectations and raise appropriate issues to project managers, as necessary.
• Develop “trusted advisor” relationships with senior stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality execution on projects.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications.
• Identify and document process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data.
• Perform analysis on existing systems; identify options for potential solutions and assess for both technical and business suitability.
• Work between remote development teams, internal IT, and business to ensure requirements are being met.
