Position Overview:

As a Central Planner, you play a key role in ensuring that the parts needed for production arrive on time and align with manufacturing requirements. You will use data, systems, and cross-functional communication to maintain accuracy, reduce inventory risk, and support clean build performance. This role offers the opportunity to influence supply chain execution and contribute to efficient, clean production builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase orders within the ERP system to meet manufacturing needs and communicate any schedule, inventory, or shipment issues to suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Work cross-functionally with Sourcing, Logistics, and Manufacturing personnel to achieve world-class clean build performance.

  • Analyze inventory for opportunities to improve turns and identify excess; coordinate the disposition of inactive, excess, and obsolete inventory.

  • Monitor and execute MRP exception messages, including escalations as appropriate.

  • Work closely with Category Sourcing and the New Product Introduction team during new part movement into production and supplier integration of design changes.

  • Assist Accounts Payable in resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Two- or four-year college degree preferred or equivalent job experience.

  • Relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, or a related function.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across varied teams and functions.

  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including intercultural communication.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to synthesize and interpret data.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to remain composed when working under pressure.

  • On-site in Roseau.

  • Travel up to 20%.

  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $24.00 to $27.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.  Individual pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.  While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
