Position Summary
The Chief Innovation Officer will be a visionary leader responsible for driving continuous improvement and strategic growth within the school. Plays a critical role in identifying and developing new revenue streams to support the school's mission and objectives. Additionally, the Chief of Innovation will oversee the institution's IT and infrastructure, with a keen focus on leveraging technology to enhance educational outcomes.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identifies and pursues new revenue opportunities, including grants, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives; develop and manage initiatives that leverage the school’s assets to generate alternative revenue streams; and work closely with the development team to build relationships with external stakeholders.
- Develops and implements a forward-thinking innovation strategy aligned with the school's mission and goals and collaborate with the executive team to integrate technological advancements into the school's curriculum and operations.
- Manages the data analysis structure and reporting; oversee the IT department to ensure robust, secure, and scalable technology solutions; manage infrastructure projects, including the development and maintenance of facilities geared towards innovative learning environments; and ensure the effective use of technology to support teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
- Leads the design and implementation of innovative programs and practices that enhance student learning and engagement; foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement among staff and students; and evaluate emerging educational technologies and trends to assess their applicability and potential impact.
- Establishes and nurtures strategic partnerships with educational institutions, technology providers, and the business community and represent the school at industry conferences and events to promote the institution’s innovation initiatives and successes.
- Develop and manage budgets for innovation projects, IT, and infrastructure and ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to financial objectives.
