The Multimedia Project Specialist II, under minimal supervision, creates and updates educational multimedia content (including videos, photos, and audio), coordinates with SMEs as appropriate, and mentors/trains less experienced employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create high quality multimedia content that supports AgriLife’s programming and mission.

  • Assists video production from intake through completion, including without limitation: scripting, storyboarding, equipment management, filming, and editing.

  • Collaborates with the Instructional Design team on content development.

  • Assists with mentoring/teaching less experienced employees.

  • Acts as the senior team member/decision-maker on shoots.

  • Reviews multimedia prior to publication.

  • Maintains multimedia libraries including videos, photos, graphics, and animations.

  • Develops educational multimedia according to internal quality standards, branding and style guides, and accessibility requirements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two years of related experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

  • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite (including Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Lightroom, and Photoshop).

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Leadership skills and the ability to guide and mentor others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to commute to the Texas A&M campus in College Station, as this is not a remote position.

  • Ability to lift, transport, and set-up heavy equipment.

  • Drives and travels as needed to perform duties. Travel up to 25% required.

  • Work beyond normal office hours including evenings and work on weekends may be necessary.

Salary: Pay Grade 10. Compensation for this position is commensurate based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.

Flexible Work Arrangements: Flexible work schedules and remote work options may be available for this position, depending on the nature of the role and employee eligibility, in accordance with AgriLife Alternate Work Location Procedures.
