About you and this role

Dow MEIC offers a position that will mainly supports customer needs by leading the development of new applications. Provides technical knowledge on the use, handling, and management of Dow Construction Chemical products. Uses understanding of the customer and the market dynamics to define projects that deliver technical solutions.
In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for your discipline and function. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to Construction and Infrastructure solutions. You are expected to become the representant of Dow in the market and with the customer, to offer innovative, sustainable and aligned to the market solutions while creating outstanding customer relationships and doing a follow up of projects and opportunities to deliver the value to the customer.
It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems while actively practicing our safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Uses broad market, customer and application knowledge and understanding of the competitive technologies to solve complex technical issues
• Convinces others about differentiated technical solutions and become recognition for that expertise in the market
• Articulates synergies between technologies to maximize value effectively
• Understands how business value is created for Dow and being able to translate that value for the customer.Participates in the development and implementation of IC strategy for a business or platform contributing with regional  market knowledge
• Fully participates in the development of technology maps for projects and leads area of IP development
• Applies and uses project management, follow standardized methods and security and environmental standards of the company, in a manner that is considered exemplary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of industry standards, project execution, and site operations
