About the Role

As a product manager, you will work on our fast-growing short video platform. Join us and be part of a team that’s building the future of video ads and monetization, making a huge impact on the platform and our community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for monetization features, programs, and ad formats designed to empower and support creators globally.
  • Partner closely with data science, ad product, engineering, and creator monetization teams to design, build, and scale customized programs that drive revenue for creators and maximize advertising opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user feedback, market research, and internal data into the product roadmap, ensuring our monetization features meet both creator and advertiser needs.
  • Leverage a data-driven approach to inform product design, iterations, and strategic decision-making from concept to launch.
  • Drive innovation in ad formats, including video ads, content ads, and new monetization surfaces that align with the platform's mission and goals.
  • Ensure a seamless ad experience that supports both user engagement and advertiser goals while maintaining the integrity of the platform.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive product vision, ensuring alignment across teams and functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA or advanced degrees are a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in building monetization and/or ads products, preferably at a consumer-focused technology company.
  • Deep understanding of content consumers, creators, and their monetization journey.
  • Proven experience conducting quantitative and statistical analysis to drive product decisions, with the ability to summarize and communicate results to stakeholders effectively.
  • Outstanding collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships across functions.
  • Experience in user-generated content platforms or knowledge of the creator economy is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualities

  • Experience in investment banking or consulting firms are a plus
  • Familiarity with video ads, content monetization, or ad tech ecosystems.
  • Experience working on products at the intersection of creator tools and ads, focusing on monetization strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a focus on solving complex problems and driving product innovation.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training. At NewsBreak, we design our overall rewards package to attract top talents. Depending on the position, the role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus and options.
