Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Strategy & Commercial Performance: Drive Malaysia’s e-commerce growth by aligning local strategy with regional/global frameworks, achieving annual sales and profitability targets, and continuously monitoring market trends and competition to capture new opportunities.
Marketplace & Partner Management: Oversee major e-commerce marketplaces, ensure operational exc
Online Promotion & Campaign Governance: Lead the annual e-commerce promotional calendar with disciplined execution, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and collaborate with Marketing and Finance to optimize investments and ROI.
Social Media & Digital Demand Generation: Drive Malaysia’s social media and digital marketing strategy to boost brand awareness, engagement, and e-commerce traffic, overseeing content, creator collaborations, live commerce, and performance marketing while ensuring consistent brand identity across all channels.
Additional Responsibilities
Deliver compelling product content and merchandising across digital platforms, enhance consumer experience through review and sentiment monitoring, and collaborate with Customer Service and Supply Chain to resolve issues impacting satisfaction.
Manage performance reporting by tracking key KPIs, preparing business reviews, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders for strategic planning.
Collaborate across local functions and serve as the key liaison for regional and global e-commerce initiatives to ensure aligned execution.
Professional experience and education
Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or commercial roles within an MNC or structured organization.
Proven experience managing key marketplaces and/or e-commerce enablers.
Demonstrated success in planning and executing digital and social media campaigns that drive both brand equity and sales.
Experience working in a matrix organization with regional and global stakeholders.
Specific Knowledge and Skill
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital media, and social commerce ecosystems.
Solid commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and ROI.
Data-driven decision-making and advanced analytical capability.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
A results-driven, strategic leader with strong execution discipline, collaborative mindset, and unwavering integrity in governance and compliance.
